About the Event
Take a lunch break on Thursday, January 22nd and come on over to Wainwright house to hear: "He’s breathing my air” and other sibling challenges
The realities of raising siblings often does not meet our fantasy of raising lifelong friends with a shared history. Yet the competition, conflict, sweet moments, intense feelings, and ever changing relationships of sibling dynamics all make sense and are a normal, healthy part of growing up in a family. In this workshop we will explore what it means to be a sibling from the child’s perspective. We will discuss ways to help our children navigate these relationships fostering empathy and cooperation as well as autonomy.
