About the Event
During this special event, you will hear from Carrie Donahue, LCSW, Consulting Counselor at Rye Country Day School, along with a panel of students from the area's public and private schools. Carrie and the Heard in Rye Junior Board panel will share their perspectives on the exciting (but sometimes stressful!) path to college. All high school parents can benefit from hearing about this important transitional time in their child's life. Both parents and their students welcome.
About Carrie Donahue, LCSW:
Carrie Donahue, LCSW, is a clinical social worker with 25 years of experience working in private practice and school based counseling. She is a Consulting Counselor at Rye Country Day School and an adjunct instructor at Boston College's School of Social Work. Her clinical focus is on adolescents. She has a passion for working with young adults, and is also a certified sports social worker (CSSW).
