Beth Gallos
Beth has been involved with Heard in Rye for over six years, serving as co-chair from 2016 - 2018. She is also a certified School Psychologist and certified Integrative and Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has a deep desire to help people find happiness in all areas of their lives, and truly believes that mindfulness-based strategies will bring lasting change to children, families and the community. She has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as training in Mindful Schools. As a Rye Schools volunteer, Beth has served on the Osborn Wellness Committee and is on the board for the Rye Youth Council.

Since 2014
Ann served as co-chair of Heard in Rye from 2015 - 2017, having previously served as a representative for Osborn School. She has been leading positive parenting courses, workshops and private sessions for over 8 years as part of the UK-based The Parent Practice. In 2014 she started teaching the classes in Rye and neighboring communities - providing parents with practical skills to make their family life more harmonious.
In her earlier career, she was part of the Aerospace group at Mitsubishi Corporation in Toronto, and following her MBA she was an organizational change consultant in London.

This is my first year as the Rye Neck Representative for Heard In Rye. I am a Clinical Social Worker and received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Over the last 15 years I have been in private practice working with adolescents and adults struggling with the complexities and challenges in school/work, relationships, coping with chronic mental and physical illnesses, addiction and trauma. I also serve as the Assistant Director of PlaySmart Academy, a summer camp where I work with adolescents helping them to see how those important lessons they learn on the playing field translate to skills needed for success within the family system, the school community and future endeavors.
I am so excited to be a part of the Heard in Rye speaker series and the amazing team of people who help make it all happen.
